Football Game Preview: Twentynine Palms Wildcats vs. Yucca Valley Trojans

The Twentynine Palms Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Yucca Valley Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Twentynine Palms is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 44 points last Thursday, they were much more limited against Coachella Valley on Friday. They took a blow against the Mighty Arabs, falling 28-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Yucca Valley played against Indio on Friday and won via forfeit.

Yucca Valley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Twentynine Palms, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Twentynine Palms was dealt a bruising 43-14 defeat at the hands of Yucca Valley in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Wildcats, Michael Ramos Jr (who rushed for 43 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 235 yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
