Baseball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Dayton Christian WARRIORS, falling 11-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the WARRIORS this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Tuesday.

Legacy Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Harphant, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Dayton Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Legacy Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Emmanuel Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Dayton Christian, they will be playing at home against Miami Valley Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on the 26th.
