Ashland and Hayward are an even 5-5 against one another since June of 2015, but likely not for long. The Oredockers will take on the Hurricanes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Ashland has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, Ashland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Chetek-Weyerhaeuser. The Oredockers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Hayward was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of St. Croix Falls by a score of 2-1.

Hayward's loss dropped their record down to 14-7-1. As for Ashland, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Ashland might still be hurting after the 13-3 defeat they got from Hayward in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Oredockers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
