Joliet Catholic lost against Marist back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the RedHawks. The Hilltoppers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13.

Ella Horn paced Joliet Catholic's offense, picking up five kills. Horn got some help from Emma Beattie and her seven assists.

Joliet Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Marist, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Joliet Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marist, they will head out to challenge Mother McAuley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
