Baseball Recap: Jay County Takes a Loss

The Jay County Patriots didn't have quite enough to beat the Western Panthers on Saturday and fell 4-3.

Jay County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Western, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

While Jay County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
