On Friday, Amherst County might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Alleghany an easy 52-29 victory. Despite the loss, Amherst County saw an underclassman step up: Ania Thompson scored eight points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thompson has scored all season.
