Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. V.R. Eaton Eagles

The Trinity Trojans will venture away from home to take on the V.R. Eaton Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Trinity came up short against Keller and fell 38-28. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 5-1 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, V.R. Eaton suffered their biggest loss since January 30, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Byron Nelson, falling 66-41. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 11-19. As for V.R. Eaton, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-10.

Trinity took a serious blow against V.R. Eaton when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 55-22. Can Trinity avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
