Dixon won the last time they faced Princeton and things went their way on Monday too. The Dukes & Duchesses came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Dixon never let Princeton on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 28-26.

Morgan Hargrave paced Dixon's offense, picking up six kills. Hargrave got some help from Leah Carlson and her 11 assists. Solis Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Dixon's record now sits at 8-2. As for Princeton, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixon will square off against Rock Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Dukes & Duchesses surely won't give up without a fight. As for Princeton, they will take on Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
