Basketball Recap: Pandora-Gilboa Takes a Loss

Pandora-Gilboa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Leipsic Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-58 back in December of 2024.

Pandora-Gilboa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Leipsic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Pandora-Gilboa and Leipsic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Pandora-Gilboa will square off against Fort Jennings at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday down 259 places (475 vs. 216). Meanwhile, Leipsic (ranked 448th) will meet Arlington (ranked 118th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
