Volleyball Game Preview: Dwight Trojans vs. Henry-Senachwine Mallards

Dwight hasn't had much luck against Henry-Senachwine recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Mallards at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dwight can't be too worried about heading out to take on Henry-Senachwine: they just beat Midland at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Timberwolves on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won five in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Dwight who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Henry-Senachwine beat Roanoke-Benson 2-0 on Monday.

Dwight's record is now 14-12. As for Henry-Senachwine, their record now sits at 26-4.

Dwight couldn't quite get it done against Henry-Senachwine in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
