Football Game Preview: Oshkosh West Wildcats vs. Hortonville Polar Bears + Official Tickets

Oshkosh West is 1-6 against Hortonville since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Polar Bears at 7:00 p.m. Oshkosh West will be strutting in after a win while Hortonville will be coming in after a loss.

Oshkosh West took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over Appleton East. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Hortonville played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 35-13 to Fond du Lac. The Polar Bears haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Hortonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Oshkosh West, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Oshkosh West and Hortonville were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but Oshkosh West came up empty-handed after a 27-26 loss. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Polar Bears' Tristan Berrens, who rushed for 228 yards and three scores while picking up 11.4 yards per carry.
