            Gary West Side won the last time they faced Hammond Central and things went their way  on Friday too. The Gary West Side Cougars walked away with  a   68-57  win over the Hammond Central Wolves. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the final result, he  went 10 of 18  on his way to 23  points in addition to seven  boards and three  steals. Browder has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 11 times he's  played. The  win  got Gary West Side back to even at 3-3. As for Hammond Central,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-5.
 Gary West Side and Marquette Catholic will compete for holiday cheer  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Hammond Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  81-72  defeat against Michigan City on the 14th.
