Merrill owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Onalaska Hilltoppers as they made off with a 6-0 win. The Bluejays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Merrill and bumps their season record up to 5-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Onalaska, they now also have a losing record of 5-6.

Onalaska wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Waunakee on the 26th. Hopefully Merrill paid attention to the Hilltoppers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Hilltoppers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
