Volleyball Recap: Minford Extends Winning Streak to Three

Minford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Symmes Valley Vikings 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-13.

Aleena Hale paced Minford's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hale got some help from Savanna Barker and her 25 assists. Kerigan Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Minford's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Symmes Valley, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minford will take on Oak Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Symmes Valley, they will head out to square off against Clay at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
