Soccer Recap: Wauwatosa East Comes Up Short

Wauwatosa East lost against Brookfield East back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Raiders lost 6-0 to the Spartans. While losing is never fun, Wauwatosa East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Brookfield East are ranked fifth).

This is the second loss in a row for Wauwatosa East and nudges their season record down to 6-7-1. As for Brookfield East, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Wauwatosa East will face off against New Berlin Eisenhower at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookfield East, they will take on Union Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union Grove will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Brookfield East surely won't give up without a fight.
