Volleyball Recap: Harbor Beach Falls Despite Big Games from Jada Schave and Reese Booms + How To Watch

Harbor Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Marlette Red Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Harbor Beach was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.

Harbor Beach's loss came despite strong showings from Reese Booms and Jada Schave. Booms had 18 digs and two aces, while Schave had 18 digs and two aces. Booms is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Harbor Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14-3. As for Marlette, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Harbor Beach will square off against Memphis at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marlette has already played their next contest (against Croswell-Lexington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
