The Providence Hall Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight defeat. They fell 52-39 to Juan Diego Catholic. Providence Hall was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Juan Diego Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Providence Hall's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaidence Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Ireland Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.

Providence Hall has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Juan Diego Catholic, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Hall will challenge Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delta is on a six-game streak of home losses, Providence Hall a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they will head out on the road to square off against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juan Diego Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
