Softball Game Preview: SA Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Clark Cougars

SA Roosevelt hasn't had much luck against Clark recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The SA Roosevelt Rough Riders will host the Clark Cougars at 6:00 p.m. SA Roosevelt has given up an average of 19.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

SA Roosevelt is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 22nd straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Churchill, falling 16-0.

Clark had taken Brandeis down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. Clark fell 10-5 to Brandeis.

Madyson Martinez was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Liegl, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for SA Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
