Baseball Recap: Wilton Comes Up Short

Wilton lost against Mid-Prairie on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Beavers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilton's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Mid-Prairie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Wilton will head out to challenge North Cedar at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mid-Prairie will be paying especially close attention to the Beavers' game: after the Beavers face off against the Knights, they'll take on Mid-Prairie again at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
