The Bloomington North Cougars will face off against the Terre Haute North Vigo Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Bloomington North didn't have quite enough to beat Zionsville and fell 55-53. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Eagles are ranked 43rd).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Caleb Fishel, who posted 11 points and seven assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Levi Lindeman, who put up ten points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Terre Haute North Vigo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over Decatur Central on Saturday. That looming 66-43 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Patriots yet this season.

Bloomington North better keep an eye on Bryce Renn. He was instrumental in Terre Haute North Vigo's win, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Renn has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Cam Fennell was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Terre Haute North Vigo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
