Basketball Recap: St. Raymond Boys Takes Down Ranked Iona Prep

On Friday, St. Raymond Boys faced Iona Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The St. Raymond Boys Ravens came out on top against the Iona Prep Gaels by a score of 73-62. This was a revenge game for the Ravens: when they faced off against the Gaels back in December of 2024, they had to take a 57-52 loss.

St. Raymond Boys' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Stores, Jr., who went 8 of 16 en route to 20 points. The match was Stores, Jr.'s seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was NaJay Bess, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 17 points.
