Flag Football Recap: Arapahoe Takes a Loss

After soaring to 47 points the game before, Arapahoe was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Mullen Mustangs. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Although Arapahoe took the loss, they still got scores from Izzie Usagani and Taylor Bradley.

Even if they lost, Arapahoe's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Mullen's QB won't forget Jet Jacobs anytime soon given she sacked her twice. Jacobs has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last four times she's played. Bradley got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Arapahoe's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mullen, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Arapahoe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 defeat against Ralston Valley on the 22nd. As for Mullen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 40-0 win against Smoky Hill on the 27th.
