Soccer Recap: Wellington Takes a Loss

Wellington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Mountain View Mountain Lions, falling 12-2. While losing is never fun, Wellington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Mountain View are ranked 97th).

Anna Grace Schultz and Addison Boskovich scored both of Wellington's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Wellington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Wellington wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Berthoud on the 24th. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 defeat against Timnath on the 24th.
