Basketball Recap: Norborne Comes Up Short

Norborne played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Northland Christian 74-26. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with Northland Christian: they've now lost four in a row.

Northland Christian found their leader in sophomore Roman Carlson, who went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc to rack up 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carlson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of David Ceballos, who went 5-for-10 en route to 12 points.

Norborne's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Northland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Norborne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-21 win against Keytesville on the 8th. As for Northland Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 80-77 victory against Maranatha Christian Academy on the 7th.
