Basketball Recap: West Platte Comes Up Short

West Platte and North Platte squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but West Platte had to settle for second. They took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Platte Panthers. The Bluejays' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

West Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for North Platte, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither West Platte nor North Platte have any future games scheduled.
