Soccer Game Preview: Chester vs. Clinton

Chester hasn't had much luck against Clinton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Chester will be playing at home against Clinton at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chester has four straight wins, Clinton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Chester's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Fairfield Central 10-0. It was an even better day for Alicia Graham as she scored three goals for her team.

Chester used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Fairfield Central. Azalea Hinton played for 20 minutes having averaged 10 this season. She made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Clinton after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Mid-Carolina by a score of 2-1.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Chester, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
