Dorman entered their tilt with J.L. Mann on Wednesday with ten consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 11. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 79-73 W against the J.L. Mann Patriots. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Patriots are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dontez Walker, who went 9-for-17 en route to 23 points and eight rebounds. The contest was Walker's 14th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kam'Ron Williams, who posted 22 points.

Dorman's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points over those games. As for J.L. Mann, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-15.

Dorman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-56 win against River Bluff on the 22nd. J.L. Mann does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
