Volleyball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Livermore Cowboys. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

While Foothill ultimately came up short, they really made Livermore work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24, 17-25, 25-14.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Livermore, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Foothill is set to face off against their familiar foe California at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Livermore will square off against rival Dublin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
