Volleyball Recap: Ava Williams and Vivian Fisher Secure Win for Cambridge + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Cambridge rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the Dominican Knights by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (91-90) Cambridge actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-19, 25-23, 26-24.

Cambridge was led to victory by Vivian Fisher and Ava Williams. Fisher had ten digs, while Williams had 13 digs and six assists. That's the most digs Fisher has posted since back in September.

Cambridge was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive contests.

Dominican's loss came despite strong showings from Gabby Johnson and Marlee Hills. Johnson had 29 digs and one assist, while Hills had 12 digs, nine kills, and six aces.

Cambridge's record is now 22-10. As for Dominican, their loss ended a ten-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 26-9.

Cambridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Luther Prep on the 25th. Dominican does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
