Softball Recap: Lake Placid Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lake Placid's offense. They came up short against the Ticonderoga Sentinels on Thursday, falling 30-0. If the Bombers were looking for revenge after losing 18-4 to the Sentinels when the teams met back in June of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lake Placid's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Ticonderoga, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lake Placid will square off against Northern Adirondack at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ticonderoga, they will challenge Peru at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
