Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bosco Tech Tigers. The Swordsmen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

St. Paul actually scored more points across those five sets (104-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 24-26, 14-25, 15-12.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Bosco Tech, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-16.

Coming up, St. Paul will head out on the road to face off against Providence at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Bosco Tech, they will square off against University Prep Value at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
