Despite the loss, Willcox still got an impressive performance from Addison Burright, who almost dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 18 rebounds, and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Burright a new career-high in assists. Paislee Adams was another key player, putting up 14 points and eight boards.

Willcox's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-5. As for St. David, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
