Basketball Game Preview: Auburn Riverside Ravens vs. Kentridge Chargers

Auburn Riverside hasn't had much luck against Kentridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Auburn Riverside Ravens will head out to face off against the Kentridge Chargers at 7:00 p.m.

Auburn Riverside is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 91-57 loss at the hands of Kennedy Catholic. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Lancers are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kentridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They secured a 49-45 W over Tahoma on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Auburn Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Kentridge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Auburn Riverside took a serious blow against Kentridge when the teams last played on January 6th, falling 81-46. Can Auburn Riverside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
