Football Recap: Henryetta Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Henryetta managed to slip by Valliant the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 32-0. Having soared to a lofty 32 points in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Nakona Johnson threw for 47 yards on six of 17 attempts. Gavin Williams was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Henryetta's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Valliant, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Henryetta will host Vian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Valliant, they are taking a road trip to take on Atoka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Wampus Cats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
