Edison proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Durant Lions, sneaking past 1-0. Edison were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on Durant, so Edison were just returning the favor.

Edison is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six contests. As for Durant, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Edison is set to face off against their familiar foe Shawnee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Durant will square off against rival Bishop Kelley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
