Softball Recap: Narrows Takes a Loss

Narrows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 15-11 to the Craig County Rockets. The Green Waves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 17-14.

Braylee Robertson and Hannah Eastburn did some serious damage despite the final result: Robertson went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Eastburn went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases and one run. Kaycee Duncan was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Narrows' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Craig County, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Narrows nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
