Preview: Port St. Lucie Jaguars vs. Treasure Coast Titans
The Port St. Lucie Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Treasure Coast Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Port St. Lucie's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Even though Melbourne scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, Port St. Lucie still came out on top. Port St. Lucie walked away with a 73-65 victory over Melbourne.
Ryan Rodriguez was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Javien Sapienza was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Treasure Coast had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against Westwood by a score of 58-49 on Tuesday.
Port St. Lucie's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Treasure Coast, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Port St. Lucie might still be hurting after the 81-60 loss they got from Treasure Coast in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Port St. Lucie avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
