Basketball Game Preview: Tehachapi Warriors vs. Ridgeview Wolf Pack

Having just played yesterday, the Tehachapi Warriors will jump right back in to play the Ridgeview Wolf Pack at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Tehachapi didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 61-49 win over Edison on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Ridgeview against Foothill on Friday as the team secured a 63-35 victory. Given the Wolf Pack's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 510th, while the Trojans are ranked 1027th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridgeview's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Tehachapi, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Tehachapi came up short against Ridgeview in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, falling 56-52. Can Tehachapi avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
