Soccer Preview: Weld Central vs. Berthoud
The Weld Central Rebels will venture away from home to challenge the Berthoud Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

They came up short against Mountain View, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Mountain Lions: they've now lost nine in a row.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Berthoud's offense. They lost 3-0 to Holy Family on Friday.
Weld Central beat Berthoud 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Weld Central since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
