Volleyball Recap: Pratt Takes a Loss

Pratt lost against Halstead back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greenbacks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14.

Mica Stapleton paced Pratt's offense, picking up seven kills. Stapleton got some help from Emry Myers and her 11 assists.

Halstead can attribute much of their success to Daynica Euwer, who had ten digs and two aces. Euwer has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Pratt's defeat dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Halstead, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-5.

Coming up, Pratt will venture away from home to challenge Central Plains on the 16th. As for Halstead, they will host Smoky Valley on Monday.
