Softball Game Preview: Colleton County Cougars vs. Bishop England Battling Bishops

The Colleton County Cougars will challenge the Bishop England Battling Bishops at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Colleton County and nine for Bishop England.

Colleton County managed to slip by Barnwell the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 9-2 to the Warhorses on Monday. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bishop England fell victim to Bluffton and their airtight pitching crew on April 11th. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 23-0.

Colleton County's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Bishop England, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Colleton County took their win against Bishop England when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 21-0 score. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Battling Bishops turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
