After losing to Santa Clarita Christian the last time they met, Nordhoff decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Nordhoff Rangers had just enough and edged out the Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals 6-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

Weston Haley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nordhoff's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jacob De Alba, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. TJ Delgado also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Nordhoff's record now sits at 2-3. As for Santa Clarita Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.

Coming up, Nordhoff will face off against Ojai Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Clarita Christian, they will be playing at home against Valley Torah at 7:00 p.m. on March 6th.
