Basketball Game Preview: Austin Eagles vs. Paoli Rams

Austin hasn't had much luck against Paoli recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m.

Austin is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 57 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Corydon Central on Saturday. They lost 56-30 to the Panthers. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Paoli put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past West Washington 59-27.

Austin now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Paoli, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Austin came up short against Paoli when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 68-61. Can Austin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
