Baseball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Northfield Raiders. The Packers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Austin's record is now 1-5. As for Northfield, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Austin and Northfield will both be playing Mayo the next time they take the field. The Raiders will head out to face the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Packers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
