Preview: Diller-Odell Griffin vs. Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats
The Diller-Odell Griffin will head out on the road to square off against the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats on Friday. Hopefully Diller-Odell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
Diller-Odell came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Falls City with a 50-44 victory. The victory was just what Diller-Odell needed coming off of a 50-30 defeat in their prior contest.
Cooper Morgan was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Tj Vitosh, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Exeter-Milligan/Friend was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 52-51 to McCool Junction.
Diller-Odell's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
Diller-Odell suffered a grim 57-32 defeat to Exeter-Milligan/Friend in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can Diller-Odell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
