Soccer Recap: James Lick Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact James Lick can now relate to. They fell just short of the Saratoga Falcons by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Comets haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

James Lick's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Saratoga, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

James Lick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saratoga, they will be playing at home against Crystal Springs Uplands at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Crystal Springs Uplands' defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Saratoga's offense will have their work cut out for them.
