Volleyball Recap: Harbor Teacher Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Harbor Teacher entered their tilt with Dorsey on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They beat the Dons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-1. The Monarchs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dons, too.

Harbor Teacher had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-7, 25-16, 25-16.

Harbor Teacher's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucas Alvarez, who had 22 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Gutierrez, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Harbor Teacher pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Dorsey, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-11.
