Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Living Water Homeschool). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mishawaka HomeSchool W Wildcats 62-59. The win was some much needed relief for the Marlins as it spelled an end to their 15-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Mishawaka HomeSchool W lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being HUDSON BARTH, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 20 points. Those 20 points gave BARTH a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Oliver CANNON, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Living Water Homeschool's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Mishawaka HomeSchool W, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Living Water Homeschool will head out to challenge Homefires at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mishawaka HomeSchool W, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-46 defeat against Miami Valley HomeSchool on the 1st.
