Basketball Recap: Liberty Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Liberty Baptist Academy's tournament run continued when they took on McDermitt on Saturday. The Liberty Baptist Academy Knights fell 32-19 to the McDermitt Bulldogs. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McDermitt's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Warrick Crutcher, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shandon Camas, who earned seven points along with 12 boards and four steals.

Liberty Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for McDermitt, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Liberty Baptist Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity International at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Liberty Baptist Academy is facing Trinity International at the right time seeing as Trinity International is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McDermitt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-15 loss against Founders Classical Academy on the 14th.
