Jordan Gomez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Eastlake is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.
